About the Author

David Graziano was born in Maryland before Kennedy and the Cuban Missile Crisis, and grew up in Ohio and New Jersey. He lamely flirted with his future wife-to-be in seventh-grade homeroom, but his primary focus was on playing any game that had a ball. He also hustled odd jobs in the neighborhood, and still has those first dollars, stashed in a drawer or wherever…

He earned a full football scholarship to attend Villanova University where he was a Summa Cum Laude engineering student, team captain and two-time Academic All-American. He then attended Harvard Business School, where he received his MBA.

He describes his postgraduate years as his “so-called career” or, more aptly, his “collection of experiences.” It is roughly broken down as 20 years of corporate work in computer-related businesses, and 20 years of other stuff, including business consulting, dad, coach and college professor. In the middle of all that, at 42, he married his seventh-grade sweetheart (it only took him 30 years to figure out what she knew at 12). They were very blessed to have a daughter a few years later. And this is when the real living began.

“Each and every one of these informal lessons has made a meaningful difference in my life. If even one or two resonate with you, I’ll consider this book worth doing.”
